SUMMER PROGRAMS

We look for volunteers for our Family Camp, Residential Camp and Day Camp programs. The summer is the time of year we require the most volunteers. Each summer we look to fill about 175 volunteer positions. It is a fantastic time to really get to know the children and families and really experience the magic of Camp Trillium.

Residential Camps:

Head out to either Rainbow Lake or Garratt´s Island for 11 days of fun working with children age 8-15. Volunteers act as group leaders and Special Friends and help the campers have an amazing time! This is a sleepover program, volunteers stay in cabins with the campers, along with the other counselors working with their group. Volunteers are asked to arrive the day before camp starts for training and orientation. Room and board is provided.

Family camps:

Join us at Garratt´s Island for 6 days or Rainbow Lake for 5 days with our wonderful families! Volunteers are matched up with families along with our staff as Special Friends and help our families have an unforgettable time. This is a sleepover program, volunteers stay in our counselor accommodations and are asked to arrive the day before camp starts for training and orientation. Room and board is provided.

Day Camp: We set up a five day (Monday to Friday) program for children ages 4-7 in cities across Ontario. Click here for Locations and dates. Volunteers join us as Special Friends from 8:30am to 4pm each day. Volunteers are also asked to attend a meeting on Sunday evening for training and orientation. Because we are unable to provide room and board for our Day Camp volunteer, people volunteer in a city they have their own accomodations.
