Rainbow Lake, in Waterford, has generously been donated to Camp Trillium by the Long Point Region Conservation Authority. The 143 acre facility is a child´s paradise, providing a 35 acre private lake for water sports in the heart of a wooded wilderness.

Rainbow Lake is a year round facility that has fully winterized buildings. Rainbow Lake opened in 1998 and is celebrating its 10th year. Rainbow Lake runs family and residential camps in the summer and during the year runs teen, family and winter residential weekends.

Rainbow has 8 cabins that are a semi-attached design able to accommodate 16 people in each side and washrooms (separate cabins for staff and volunteers). Rainbow Lake has a capacity of 230 people, however, Camp Trillium has camps no larger than 120 campers at a time to ensure an intimate, friendly and family-oriented camping experience.

All Camp Trillium programs and facilities follow safety standards, including the accreditation standard of the Ontario Camping Association (OCA) www.ontraiocamps.ca, the guidelines from the Children´s Oncology Camping Association International (COCA-I) www.coca-intl.org and the guidelines from the Canadian Association of Pediatric Oncology Camps (CAPOC).

Rainbow Lake can be rented out by groups when camp is not scheduled. Please see Site Rentals for more information.
